Now, let’s talk about the cuisine! Stogie Joe's delights in offering a variety of dishes that bridge the gap between traditional recipes and inventive ideas. Start your meal with the Steamed Clams, prepared in a choice of white wine shellfish broth, spicy tomato broth, or cannellini beans for an extra cost – a seafood lover's dream that will tantalize your taste buds. For those craving something crispy, the Baked Jumbo Wings or the BBQ Sausage Bites (served hot or sweet) are sure to impress.

When it comes to sandwiches, you won't want to miss the standout Housemade Meatball Sandwich – a hearty blend of beef, pork, and veal nestled within a fresh Kaiser roll. As mentioned by satisfied diners, the unique Cheese Steak Stromboli is a surprising favorite, embodying Stogie Joe's commitment to culinary creativity.

For those who appreciate a good soup, try the Escarole & Bean Soup or the French Onion Soup, topped with a decadent blend of Asiago and mild provolone cheeses – perfect for a chilly evening or to warm the soul. And let’s not overlook their pizza – a bit unconventional but absolutely delicious, with sauce on top and a crispy square crust that has garnered rave reviews.

We enjoyed the restaurant and the servers were pretty attentive. Our group had a large meatball sandwich that was tasty. The pizza is good but different, lots of sauce and much less cheese. The cheese steak Stromboli was also very good. I did not like having to pay for a refill of my Diet Coke, especially when they did not say anything. As someone who loves their soda, the food was good but not so amazing I can’t pass on the place the next time i go out, and go somewhere else with a refill.

Great Food, Great Service, Great Vibes!! It's a cozy spot with indoor and outdoor seating. The food is fantastic and the service is superb! Did I mention they have live music while you are enjoying your food and drinks! The pizza is square, and the sauce is on top... but it is one of the best pies I have tried. The gnocchi was out of this world. It was soft and packed with flavor from the sauce!! Make sure you stop by for some of the best italian food in the city! Oh, and bring cash! They are cash only, but have atm on site. Enjoy!!

What can I say? The food was amazing muscles in white, I don't eat gluten so I basically drank the juice! The salmon was amazing, the mixed vegetables were so delicious with a surprise sprinkle of lentils omg yum! Got to see an old friend in there and the server, I wish I caught her name she was super friendly and funny. All the other staff were great as well. This was like my 3rd time there why don't I go more often is my only question. I love having one on one dinners with my mom, we have the best conversations it's just a whole treat

**CASH ONLY** – Just a heads-up, this wasn’t clearly posted anywhere that I saw, so I want to make sure it’s the first thing you notice. I visited this spot because I’m a big fan of *Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives* with Guy Fieri, and I was excited to try it out. The restaurant has a cool, laid-back vibe with both indoor and outdoor seating, and the outdoor area is dog-friendly, which is a nice bonus. We started with the honey hot baked wings. They had a great flavor and were fall-off-the-bone tender. That said, I wouldn’t call them “jumbo” as described on the menu—they seemed more average in size. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan, which was a bit disappointing. It resembled more of a chicken patty topped with sauce and cheese, rather than a traditional cutlet that fills the plate. The sauce was runny and on the sweeter side—not really my thing, though that’s on me for not reading the menu more closely. The entrée only comes with *either* linguine marinara *or* a vegetable side, not both, which feels a bit stingy for the price. My girlfriend ordered the Eggplant Rigatoni, which was advertised as spicy but really wasn’t. The portion size was also smaller than expected. I guess we went in with high hopes—I was expecting more of a “Nonna’s kitchen in South Philly” kind of experience. Overall, the ambiance was nice, but the food didn’t quite live up to the hype.

My very close friend Guy Fieri told me about this place. My gf had the crab gravy type deal and I had the meatball sandwhich. Both were both pretty good but I think her dish was the best. That’s what guy had so it made sense. I liked the fireplace and the friendly service.

Loved the food and the kind and attentive staff. A cute little dive bar with inside and outside seating. Their freshly made pierogies were delicious, especially with the fondue sauce that usually accompanies the potato wedges. The Mac n cheese came in a light, buttery sauce, and the linguini with crab gravy was not at all what I expected. Their crab gravy is very simple to a Maryland blue crab soup, as a flavorful and not acidic red sauce. We came in for a late lunch, and they were only moderately busy. Would definitely return to give their cocktails and pizza a try. Important to note that this bar is CASH ONLY, and there’s no signs until you get your bill. ATM is available with a $2+ surcharge.

We just happened to stop in here because we couldn't find a place that was open after 4 in that area. The food was really good. They had a okay gluten free selection, but they are a cash a restaurant.
